Marlon Harewood’s Premier League days might be long behind him but he now has his own company modifying footballers’ luxury sports cars.

For many footballers, leaving the game can be a wrench that takes a long time to get over.

But ex-Nottingham Forest player Marlon Harewood has managed to combine his love of the sport with running a successful business.

While he may no longer be plying his trade in the Premier League, he still deals with top stars on a regular basis – the only difference is that he calls them clients rather than teammates.

As co-owner of AC13 Premier, he helps pros find the most suitable top-of-the-range vehicles and equips them with the latest modifications, such as interior fit-outs, body styling kits, bespoke wheel colouring, privacy glass, vehicle wrapping and accident repairs.

With a client list including England stars like Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane, Andy Carroll, Jack Butland and Kyle Walker, it means Harewood manages to stay in touch with the sport he loves.

“It’s good because I get to keep in contact with all the lads. I go to see if they need any help with their cars and have a chat about football,” says the 37-year-old, who lives in Bingham with his wife and three children.
