How do I wash my wrapped car?
Please wait a minimum of 72 hours before washing your vehicle. After this period for general maintenance, every 2-3 weeks hand wash with a simple mixture of mild pH neutral shampoo and water. Use soft microfibre cloths and mitts to wash, avoiding hard bristled brushes and abrasive tools.
Dry the vehicle with a soft microfibre or drying towel following washing to eliminate the chances of water spotting. We do not recommend using any wax or sealant coatings on your wrapped vehicle.
Can I use a pressure washer?
Avoid pressure washing if possible to reduce the risk of water lifting the wrap. If pressure washing is unavoidable hold the nozzle least 50cm away, at a 45° angle, avoiding film edges.
What products/tools can I use to wash my wrapped car?
Use a pH neutral pure shampoo with warm water and a soft wash mitt to clean your vehicle. For spot cleaning isolated stains we suggest using an isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
Avoid using aggressive, caustic cleaners and mechanical brushes and other aggressive cleaning procedures as this will result in reduction of the film’s performance life, along with damage to film overlapping seams/edges.
How do I ensure you wrap is kept in the best condition possible?
There are a number of ways to prolong the life of your wrap material, storing your vehicle inside or under cover reducing the materials exposure to extreme elements. Remove bird droppings or fuel spills as soon as possible, left of the vinyl these can cause perminent damage. Wash you vehicle every 2 weeks to keep it contaminant free.
